Sent to Fish is a social network built on trust between travelers and locals. We set clear community standards, provide safety tools, and act on reports of abuse.
Community standards
All Sent to Fish users agree to:
- Treat others with respect. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination of any kind.
- Act lawfully. No illegal activity, including trafficking or exploitation of any kind.
- Be honest. No impersonation, fake profiles, or misleading information.
- Stay safe. No conduct that puts other users or third parties at risk.
- Protect privacy. Do not share other users' personal information without consent.
Safety tips
- Review a user's profile, verifications, and shared connections before meeting.
- Keep conversations on Sent to Fish so we can help if something goes wrong.
- Share your itinerary with someone you trust.
- Meet new people in public places when possible.
- Trust your instincts; leave any situation that feels unsafe.
- Carry travel insurance and your own emergency contacts.
Reporting issues
To report a user, message, or safety concern, use the in-app Report action or email safety@senttofish.com with as much detail as possible. We review reports promptly and may suspend or remove accounts that violate our standards.
In an emergency, always contact local emergency services first. Sent to Fish is not an emergency service and cannot dispatch help.

Enforcement
Violations of these standards may result in warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination, at Sent to Fish's sole discretion.
